THE STUDIO
Martin Design is a boutique kitchen and bath design studio.
We intentionally remain a small practice so every project is developed directly with the designer. Clients work with the same team from the first meeting through completion, creating continuity throughout the project.
THE PRINCIPAL
Every project is personally led by Kathryn Martin, Founder and Principal of Martin Design, from the initial consultation through material procurement and installation support.
‘What continues to draw me to this profession is that every family lives differently. Every home has its own opportunities, and every renovation asks a different set of questions.
I enjoy learning how people use their homes—the routines they repeat every day, the frustrations they have learned to live with, and the changes that would make those spaces work better.Once the space functions naturally, the materials become an opportunity to give that solution its own character.
The most rewarding moment is seeing a finished space become part of someone's everyday life. A well-designed kitchen is experienced over years of meals, conversations, celebrations, and ordinary mornings.
Knowing the work continues to support those moments is what gives it meaning.’

OUR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Cindy manages the operational side of the studio, overseeing client accounts, procurement, vendor relationships, and project logistics.
From purchase orders and deliveries to tracking materials and resolving issues, she ensures every project is supported behind the scenes so the design can move forward without interruption.
